I CANT BELIEVE THAT I'VE BEEN TO EIFFEL TOWER!!!!

So I was absent for one of the ICT class because I went to fulfill one of my bucket list. I went to Paris to see the Eiffel Tower! I was so ecstatic when I got there. I was in awe with the people, the buildings, the view!!

It was amazing. Which makes me realize that life is amazing, if you appreciate it enough. Alhamdulillah for everything that I have today which makes me, me.

Pairwork: Creating a Website.

The website is finally finished! I think it looks pretty good. I've always like simplistic design. It relaxes the eyes, and I know where I should look at. I dont like anything to be crammed up. I think it does its job well because I showed it to my students and they understood the content. So that's good news.

Let's just hope the website will get A++++++!! Hehe :D

Busy busy busy busy

These few days have been SO busy! I wish I have more hours in a day. So much work, so many assignments. But then again, I guess I am coping.... in a way. Wish me luck!

Plush Toy Workshop.

In simple definition, a plush toy is something like a teddy bear. According to dictionary.com, plush means

a fabric, as of silk, cotton, or wool, whose pile is more than ¹ / ₈  inch (0.3 cm) high.

During my degree days, I've always been interested in making diy things. I learn the craft from the internet, usually. I would draft what I want to do, find the materials and make them. Back when I was a shopaholic, I even sold the plush toys to get money so that I can buy new things :D

Anyway, a colleague of mine knows my interest and ask me to do a workshop in creating plush toys for the students of Kelab Usahawan. These are some photos of the whole event.

Recycling.

This was a video I did for one of my classes. I used Windows Movie Maker and drew each of the frames on Photoshop. In simple words, students are to watch the video and jot down notes regarding the topic. They are then required to sit in groups and write an essay about recycling using the information they obtained from the video.

ICT Quiz - Poster.

Something I whipped up in 20-30 minutes for ICT class. I totally panicked!

Very basic poster but it achieved its purpose, I guess.

Creating a fun header.

The title that we chose for our website is 'Having fun with grammar'. Therefore, we wanted to inject the fun element in our header. After much discussion, this was what we came up with.

Personally, I do think it will attract students more. What do you think?
